What to Expect

Your tour guide will greet you at the Schneider Bräuhaus, right next to Marienplatz, with a beer, to start the tour. From here you’ll discover the Viktualienmarkt, the Old Peter church and Marienplatz, as well as the city’s history, stories and legends.

Halfway down the tour we’ll take a rest with a tasting of 4 beers in an authentic beerhall right in the heart of the city. Our guide will guide you through the beer types and their flavours, the history of the beers, the big six of Munich and the role beer plays in local culture.

The second half of the tour will then take us past more highlights like Odeonsplatz and the royal palace, you’ll learn about the royal history and the italian influence on Munich.

Finally we’ll end the tour at the world famous Hofbräuhaus, where you can snap that perfect picture of yourself with one of those big beers in the most famous beer hall in the world.

Where to Meet

We meet at Schneider Bräuhaus, not in the restaurant but in front of it. In case of rain there is schelter just on the other side of the street in front of the Sparkasse. You'll find the Schneider Bräuhaus on the corner of Tal and Maderbräustrasse, and you closest subway stop is Marienplatz.
